Slack recently disclosed that it had a security incident involving unauthorised access to a subset of their code repository. They have observed suspicious activities on their GitHub code repository account, and upon investigation, discovered that a limited number of slack employee tokens were stolen and misused to gain access to their code repository on GitHub. Their investigations showed that the threat actors downloaded the slack code repositories on December 27th 2022. Slack has assured that no customer data were accessed by the threat actors.
