Beware of Silicon Valley Bank Scams. Any big news story tends to attract its set of scams, so its no surprise that last week’s failure of Silicon Valley Bank is starting to get some traction. Johannes Ullrich from the SANS Internet Storm Center has written an article about this and has warned everyone to expect some simple but targeted scams. This is especially for those where it is known that you or the company you work for banks with Silicon Valley Bank. He has already seen a race to register Silicon Valley Bank related domain names.
