Git just patched two critical severity security vulnerabilities that could allow attackers to perform remote code execution. The security vulnerabilities were discovered as part of a security source code review that was funded by the Open Source Technology Improvement Fund (OSTIF). This is a corporate non-profit that is dedicated to securing open source apps that we all depend on. The article has a table listing all the affected and patched versions of Git.
