Experts are urging for cyber security to be taught to kids as young as 5-year-old. There’s been a the huge increase in number of data breaches being report in Australia in the last few weeks. While the Australian government is making improvements to national cyber security and increasing financial penalties for companies, cyber security experts are urging that more needs to be done to raise the national’s security awareness. A new curriculum has been laid out with an increased emphasis on practising better online safety and security literacy. However experts says that while that is a step in the right direction, we need to educate people from a young age to protect themselves from common cyber security threat.
