AirAsia Poor Network Organisation spared it from future attacks

What’s worse? Being hit by a ransomware attack? or being hit by a ransonware attack with the hacker group telling the world that your network organisation is too chaotic that they did not do as much as they normally do. And that they are completely unwilling to repeat the attack. Is this security by incompetence? Could it catch on? This is what recently happened when AirAsia, Malaysia’s low cost carrier fell victim to a ransomware attack, where the personal data of 5 million unique passengers and all of its employees were compromised.
