The popular Eufy video doorbell has been caught uploading video capture thumbnails to their cloud server even when cloud storage is disabled and local only storage settings are turned on. Security consultant, Paul Moore, recently published a video showcasing the issue. He found that the device was uploading thumbnail images of faces and user information to its cloud service, even when cloud functionality is not enabled.
