I had the privileged to be invited to speak at the DevSecOps Leadership Forum in Auckland. It rained heavily on the day but that didn’t deter the attendees, as it was still a full house at the event. I spoke about open source security, why we need to do more due diligent and how we should go about it. The audience were very engaging and I gathered that a lot of organisations are starting out on their DevSecOps journey. There were lots of questions and interesting conversations. Also interestingly the audience were mainly from an engineering/technology background with lots of engineering managers and CTOs in attendance.
Great event and I especially enjoyed the after event conversations with the other attendees.
