Had the fantastic opportunity this evening to guest lecture at UNSW (University of New South Wales) to tomorrow’s software engineers and leaders. I shared the importance of cyber security in Software Design and Development, and provided some approaches and best practices.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to help “shift left” the security training and awareness and be able to engage university students.
The university recently resumed in-person lectures so this was a hybrid session with around 100 students attending either remotely or in person. It was a great evening with lots of good engagement and questions from the students.
